Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and halved
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese sliced
  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup balsamic glaze
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Begin by preparing your strawberries; hull and slice them in half. Set aside.
  2. Slice the fresh mozzarella cheese into rounds, about 1/4-inch thick.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, gently combine the sliced strawberries, mozzarella, and fresh basil leaves.
  4. Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil and balsamic glaze over the salad mixture.
  5. Season with salt and black pepper to taste, then toss gently to combine all ingredients.
  6. Transfer the salad to a serving platter, arranging it artfully for presentation.
  7. Finish with an extra drizzle of balsamic glaze on top for a beautiful finish.

Notes

Storage & Reheating:
This salad is best enjoyed fresh. If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 day. Note that the salad may become soggy due to the balsamic glaze and olive oil, so it's recommended to consume it quickly.
