Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, BBQ sauce, cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until everything is well combined.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil and sauté the sliced green onions for about 2 minutes until they are tender.
  4. Combine the sautéed green onions with the chicken mixture and mix thoroughly.
  5. Transfer the chicken mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish and spread it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top of the casserole.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Storage & Reheating:
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. To reheat, simply microwave individual portions for 1-2 minutes or place the entire casserole back in the oven at 350°F (175°C) until warmed through.
