Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups fresh strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 cups milk dairy or non-dairy
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 Glass
  • 1 Straw
  • 1 Measuring cups

Method
 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced strawberries and granulated sugar. Gently toss them to coat the strawberries with sugar and let them sit for about 10 minutes to macerate.
  2. After the strawberries have softened, add them to a blender along with the milk and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour the strawberry mixture into a glass, filling it to your desired level.
  4. If desired, add ice cubes to the glass for a chilled version.
  5. Stir the mixture gently and serve with a straw for easy sipping.

Notes

Storage & Reheating:
For the best flavor, enjoy the strawberry milk fresh. However, you can store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Stir well before serving again as the ingredients may separate.

- Add a splash of almond or coconut milk for a different flavor profile.
- Include a handful of other berries like blueberries or raspberries for added sweetness.
