Equipment
Method
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil and heat until shimmering.
- Add the sliced beef sirloin to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and bell peppers. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.
- Stir in the minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- In a mixing bowl, blend the softened cream cheese with half of the provolone and mozzarella cheeses until smooth.
- Return the cooked steak to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables and mix well.
- Pour the cheese mixture over the steak and vegetables, stirring until everything is well coated.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, spreading it evenly. Top with the remaining provolone and mozzarella cheeses.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Once baked, remove from oven and allow to cool for a few minutes before garnishing with chopped parsley.
